PV Purchase Vault

Terms of Service

Plain-language terms for an early-stage software service. Not attorney-reviewed.

What Purchase Vault is

Purchase Vault helps you save receipts and purchase documents, track return and warranty deadlines, and see what proof you have ready for a return, warranty claim, insurance claim, or dispute. It is a record-keeping and organization tool — not a financial advisor, insurance broker, law firm, or claims service.

Your responsibility for your information

You're responsible for the accuracy of the purchase information, dates, and documents you enter or upload. Return windows, warranty terms, and claim requirements are set by merchants, manufacturers, and insurers — not by Purchase Vault — and can change. Reminders and deadline tracking in the app are based only on what you've entered; they are not a guarantee that a return, warranty, or claim will actually be honored. Always verify deadlines and claim requirements directly with the relevant merchant, manufacturer, or insurer before relying on them.

Receipt scanning and extracted data

When available, receipt scanning uses best-effort text extraction to suggest form fields. Suggestions are never saved automatically — you always review and confirm them before anything is stored as a purchase. We don't guarantee the accuracy of any extracted or suggested data.

Acceptable use

Use Purchase Vault only for your own legitimate purchase records. Don't use it to store content you don't have the right to store, attempt to access another user's account or data, or interfere with the service's normal operation.

Account termination

You can delete your account at any time through the app or by contacting support. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms or misuse the service.

Service availability

This is an early-stage, privately-tested service. We don't guarantee uninterrupted availability, and features or the service itself may change as we learn from real usage.

Limitation of liability

Purchase Vault is provided "as is," without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Purchase Vault and its operator are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service, including a missed return window, denied warranty claim, or denied insurance claim.
